The founder of OhioRodeo.com, David Sherman, has decided that he will bow out of rodeo events in Ohio.
Several of us have joined his wife Dawn in RodeoWorldUSA.com

David designed RodeoWorldUSA.com for us. He made RodeoWorldUSA.com as easy as OhioRodeo.com was to navigate just based on a nationwide level instead of only serving Oho.

The founder of OhioRodeo.com has moved on from promoting rodeos in Ohio only. He wanted me to express that he loves rodeo with all of his heart, and loves a lot of the people involved with rodeo in Ohio.

Dave Sherman is the founder of OhioRodeo.com. He originally built this site in 2000 after it was clear that people involved with rodeo events state wide were not making it to local rodeos because there is no organization in posting rodeo events state wide. Dave thought with the on flux of computers and the internet that it was time to build the first rodeo website to help the cowboys and cowgirls to find the events, the stock contractors to get people to their events, and the fans that were left out in left field to find events close to them.

I have had a few discussions with Dave about what rodeo was at the turn of the century (2000) and what it is now 7 years later. Dave told me that rodeo and bull riding was a close nit cowboy and cowgirl family where for the most part everyone was out to have a good time and enjoy the sport of rodeo. Dave said that he loved to keep up with what he considered to be his best friends in life when he was at rodeos. He watched a lot of the young cowboys ride through the ranks and beyond their dreams that they once had. He slowly watched them quit rodeo and move on. He watched stock contractors move away from the state or retire because they were getting their throats cut by other stock contractors or cowboys that thought they were shorted by the stock contractor for one reason or another.

If it were not for Dave, most stock contractors from the Ohio area wouldn't even know how to turn a computer on or conceive the idea of what a website for their rodeo company would mean. Think about that boys and girls!
